On an auspicious day, Dzongdag formally assumed office. She was received in a traditional chibdrel followed by Zhukdrel Pünsum Tsokpa in the office. Concurrently, Dhar ceremony was held at the Dzong courtyard.
A number of well-wishers including Dasho(s) of the Court, RBP, regional heads, local government officials, and the public came to offer their candid Trashi Delek to Dasho.
The ceremony concluded with Trashi Laybay followed by lunch.
