Samdrup Jongkhar District Administration, under the directive of the Royal Civil Service Commission, has initiated the 'Skills for Life' training program aimed at equipping support staff with essential life skills to enhance their livelihoods.

The training program commenced today at Samdrup Choling and Jomotsangkha Drungkhag, with a total of 29 participants attending.

At the Samdrup Choling Drungkhag, the opening ceremony was graced by Dasho Dungpa. Fourteen participants have enrolled in the program.

Simultaneously, at Jomotsangkha Drungkhag, the inaugural ceremony of SKILL4LIFE took place, with the esteemed presence of Offtg. Dasho Dungpa. Fifteen participants enthusiastically joined the training.

The 'Skills for Life' training program aims to empower the support staff by providing them with practical knowledge and abilities that can enhance their livelihoods and overall well-being.

The training program is scheduled to conclude on the 15th of July.
