The border gate reopens formally with a cleansing ritual
Led by Lam Neten of the Dzongkhag Dratsang, monks performed a cleansing ritual at 4:30 am coinciding with a Blessed Rainy Day.
Following, Nam Neten and Dasho Dzongdag graced the reopening ceremony of the border gate in the presence of heads from the Thromde Administration, the Dzongkhag Court, RBP, Regional Offices, DANTAK, TCB, and the Business community between the auspicious time, 5-6 am.
The border gate reopens after more than two years.
