A key stakeholders' consultation meeting was held at the DT Hall this morning to discuss the recently established "Safe Space for Women and Girls" in Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag. Organized by RENEW/MSTF-CBSS, the session aimed to raise awareness about the facility, which will officially begin operations in the first week of April 2025.
The service centre, designed to provide support and protection for women and girls, will be staffed by a centre manager and a case manager. Stakeholders from various sectors gathered to discuss its implementation and ensure effective collaboration.
