3-Day Moenlam Chenmo begins in Samdrup Jongkhar
The three day Moenlam Chenmo begins today at Drastang in Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag. It is presided over by Lam Neten with over hundreds of monks from Dratsang.
It started with Chipdrel-a traditional ceremonial procession-of Lam Neten from residence to Choekhang at half-past five in the morning.
Dasho Dzongda, Dasho SP, Dasho Thrompoen, Dasho Dzongrab, Sector Heads of Dzongkhag Administration and Thromde are in attendance.
It will conclude on June 14.
