The 6th session of the Dzongkhag Tshogdu of the Third Local Government saw the official launch of four standardized livestock products—Samjong Butter, Eggs, Cheese, and Chicken.
These products were inagurated by the Honorable Members of Principal Dzongkhag Livestock Officer and DT Thrizin.
Produced by dairy farmers' groups in Samdrup Jongkhar, these "Samjong Products" have been standardized to ensure quality and create a distinct identity that reflects their local origin.
The initiative aims to enhance the marketability of these products, support the livelihoods of dairy farmers, and promote agricultural development in the region.
