The Dzongkhag's North Star project, the "Mobile Census Service," continues to make significant headway.
A year ago, Dzongdag mentored and trained seven young officers as part of the RCSC's leadership project, the "Nurturing Leadership Project."
The mission of the project was to ensure that by the end of each fiscal year, 95% of the Dzongkhag population's census issues would be resolved at their doorstep, resulting in substantial cost savings.
This effort involves ongoing advocacy, active monitoring of local government officials, and the efficient segregation of census services. In line with this objective, the 13 five-year plan proposes to automate the census service, aiming to reduce turnaround times and enhance service delivery to the residents of Dzongkhag.
Currently, the Census Sector, under the guidance of the Census Officer, spearheads the Annual Census and Advocacy Program on Civil Registration and Census procedures across eleven Gewogs.
This program not only simplifies access to census-related services for the general public but also ensures efficient service delivery across the Gewogs, benefiting the community.
