Orange Export Facilitation Meeting Held at Dzongkhag DT Hall to enhance Mandarin Exports

A two-day Orange Export Facilitation meeting, aimed at enhancing the smooth export of mandarin oranges from the eastern regions, was hosted at the Dzongkhag DT Hall by the Regional Agriculture Marketing and Cooperatives Office (RAMCO) yesterday. The meeting gathered key stakeholders to address the challenges hindering the export process and explore solutions to ensure the efficient export of mandarins.

The stakeholder group included representatives from the Royal Bhutan Police (RBP), exporters, sawmillers, the Regional Revenue and Customs Office (RRCO), ROICE, Dzongkhag Administration, and the BFDA. The meeting provided a platform for open discussions on the issues faced by exporters and sought to streamline the export process.

Dasho OC, ICP chaired the meeting, ensuring a focused and productive session. The closing ceremony was graced by the Dzongrab, who highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in boosting the export of Bhutan’s mandarin oranges, which are a key agricultural export.
