Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag today observed the auspicious Tendrel Ceremony for the newly appointed Dzongdag at the Dzongkhag Courtyard.
The ceremony marked the formal handing-taking of office, followed by the Tashi Khadar Ceremony, witnessed by officials and well-wishers.
The occasion was conducted in accordance with Bhutanese tradition, offering prayers and good wishes for a successful tenure and continued service to the people.
