The Martsalla water project, located in Samdrupcholing Drungkhag, Martshalla Gewog, was successfully completed over a period of five months. This initiative engaged approximately 70 dedicated De-suups and received support from various entities, including the Dzongkhag Administration, Royal Bhutan Army (RBA), Drungkhag, and Gewog administrations.
With an estimated cost of 7.97 million, the project involved the installation of HDPE pipes spanning a distance of 25km. It included the construction of one intake, two flow control reservoirs (FCR), five bulk production tanks (BPT), and 75 tap stands, ensuring a comprehensive water supply system.
The Martsalla water project will significantly improve the quality of life for the 75 households, granting them access to clean drinking water.
The Dzongkhag Administration extends its heartfelt gratitude to all those involved and eagerly anticipates future collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing the well-being of our community.
