Handing taking ceremony between the Officiating Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and District Health Officer (DHO)

Today, a crucial handing taking ceremony took place between the Officiating Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and District Health Officer (DHO) in a morning session held at the conference hall.

The event was attended by Dzongkhag and Hospital sector heads.

The focus was on the transfer of management responsibilities, including clinical, HR, and administrative functions from Dzongkhag Health Sector to Distric Hospital Management.

This transfer is in accordance with an executive order from the Ministry of Health.
