Today at the DT Hall, a one-day consultative meeting was held between aggregators, FGs, and cooperatives to link with the Food Corporation of Bhutan Limited (FCBL) for the supply of quality vegetables to Gyalsung Academy, set to begin this September. The meeting was attended by the chairpersons of FGs and Coops of producer and marketing groups, as well as the aggregator from Eastern Marketing Aggregator Coops, and was graced by the Dzongrab. The meeting was coordinated in collaboration with RAMCO, Mongar.
During today's milestone meeting, the aggregator to be linked with FCBL was identified, along with the formulation of a plan B. FCBL presented their supply chain modality and aggregation centers. RAMCO office outlined the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders to ensure successful supply to Gyalsung Academy.
Tentative prices for items were discussed and documented for further deliberation. Additionally, a date was set for Training of Trainers (TOT) for extension officers in post-harvest processes to ensure quality supply when Gyalsung Academy begins its operations.
