In a concerted effort to strengthen coordination across the Dzongkhag, Drungkhag, and Gewog levels, a two-day problem-solving workshop commenced today in Samdrup Jongkhar. Organized under the leadership of the Dzongdag, the workshop is focused on identifying and addressing key coordination issues that impact the efficient execution of development activities within the Dzongkhag.
The workshop brings together the Dzongrab, Drungpas, sector heads, Gowog Administrative Officers, Mangmis,Tshogpas , as well as representatives from the four Gewogs under Samdrup Choling Drungkhag. This broad range of participants has been assembled to foster optimal coordination and alignment of developmental efforts across all levels of governance.
Prior to the workshop, an extensive data collection process was undertaken to gather input on coordination challenges faced by officials from Dzongkhag, Drungkhag, and Gewog levels. These inputs were reviewed and organized to ensure that discussions focus on the most relevant and impactful issues.
Rather than implementing top-down solutions, this workshop adopts an inclusive approach where solutions will be collaboratively identified and developed by participants through group work. This strategy empowers stakeholders to take ownership of the solutions and fosters a shared commitment to implement them within their respective sectors.
Following this initial session for Samdrup Choling Drungkhag, similar workshops will be organized for the other Gewogs within the Dzongkhag to ensure comprehensive alignment and cooperation across all administrative levels.
