A Dzongkhag-level coordination workshop involving Drungkhag, Dzongkhag, and Gewog representatives was held today at the Langchenphu Gewog Administration Hall. The workshop brought together over 65 participants, including representatives from chiwogs, gewogs, drungkhags, and sector heads, to address key issues and challenges related to inter-agency coordination within the Dzongkhag.
The participants were divided into six groups to facilitate in-depth discussions and identify actionable solutions. The meeting emphasized the importance of fostering a clear understanding and stronger collaboration among the three agencies—Drungkhag, Dzongkhag, and Gewog—to achieve common goals. Through open dialogue and creative problem-solving, the participants adhered to system rules and regulations while exploring flexible approaches to tackle pressing challenges.
The session was facilitated by three Dashos, alongside an operations team comprising sector heads, who ensured the smooth conduct of the workshop. This initiative aligns with the principles of enlightened entrepreneurial bureaucracy, encouraging innovation and adaptability within the framework of governance.
This coordination meeting follows a similar successful event held last month for the Samdrup Choling Drungkhag. Plans are underway to extend this workshop to the remaining gewogs in the Dzongkhag, ensuring comprehensive participation and alignment across all administrative levels.
The primary objective of this workshop is to foster a shared vision among all stakeholders, enabling them to work collectively toward the Dzongkhag’s common goals. By strengthening coordination and communication, the initiative aims to enhance service delivery, address local challenges effectively, and promote sustainable development in the region.
The impact of such coordination meetings is expected to be far-reaching, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and shared responsibility among all levels of administration. This approach not only strengthens governance but also empowers local communities to actively contribute to the Dzongkhag’s development agenda.
