First Local Dairy Products Supplied to Gyalsung Academy: BLDCL and Dzongkhag Livestock Ensure Quality and Quantity

In a significant milestone for local dairy farmers, the first batch of dairy products was successfully delivered to the Gyalsung Academy today. The Bhutan Livestock Development Corporation Limited (BLDCL) CEO and team, in collaboration with officials from the Dzongkhag Livestock sector, closely monitored the delivery process to ensure the highest standards of quality and quantity.

This initiative marks a new chapter for Farmer Groups (FGs) and individual farmers connected with BLDCL, who now have an assured market for their dairy products and meats. The guaranteed market access is a substantial relief for local producers, empowering them with economic stability and growth opportunities.

To further enhance the sustainability of this initiative, the Dzongkhag Livestock sector will continue to facilitate the production process, ensuring consistent quality across all products. They will also support farmers by providing one-time processing and marketing equipment, helping to maintain the high standards expected by the Gyalsung Academy.
