The Dzongkhag Administration convened a primary stakeholders meeting this morning at the Dzongkhag Tshogdu Hall, bringing together tour operators and government agencies to chart a new course for tourism promotion in Samdrup Jongkhar. Chaired by the Dzongdag, the meeting focused on enhancing the overall tourism experience and unlocking the dzongkhag's potential as an emerging destination.
Government agencies presented their planned activities and programs approved under the 13th Five Year Plan, aligning development efforts with tourism goals. The key outcome of the meeting was the commitment to jointly develop tour itineraries, assess and promote potential tourism sites, and extend mutual support to ensure the success of tourism in Samdrup Jongkhar.
