A two-day consultative meeting focusing on supplying agriculture and livestock products to Gyalsung, Pemathang commenced today at the DT Hall. The opening ceremony was graced by Dasho Dzongdag, who delivered an inspiring opening remark emphasizing the tremendous opportunities that lie ahead for farmers in the agriculture and livestock sector with an assured market at Gyalsung.
Representatives from various organizations and government bodies were present at the event, including officials from the Gyalsung office, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MoAL), Dzongkhag RNR sectors, the Food Corporation of Bhutan Limited (FCBL), the Bhutan Livestock Development Corporation (BLDC), and the Farm Machinery Corporation Limited (FMCL).
The consultative meeting, which aims to ensure the continuous supply of high-quality agriculture and livestock products, is being coordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.
The primary objective of the meeting is to strategize and establish a robust framework that guarantees a consistent and reliable supply of agricultural and livestock products to Gyalsung Academy when it commences operations in the upcoming mid-year.
